In Loving Memory of Jackson

Jackson was a 16 year old Westie. His favorite thing to do:  Jack loved to follow me around the house.  He also loved to sit outside in the yard in the summer,  He would sit out there for hours, maybe changing spots every so often. When he wasn’t doing one of those two things, he could be found asleep in his bed. Favorite Memory: Jackson knew how to tell time.  Every day, without fail, he would start to whine at 4:30 and continue to whine until 5:00 which was suppertime. Another favorite memory
is the time I couldn’t find Jackson.  As I mentioned before, he loved to follow me around the house.  One day I was getting ready to go to an appointment and it was time to put Jack in his
crate, but he was nowhere to be found.  I went all through the house, calling his name (which was useless because we think he was deaf), but no Jackson.  Finally, I just sat down on the edge
of my bed and was quiet.  That’s when I heard it, the plaintive whining of a Westie coming from the direction of the walk-in closet.  Yep, he had followed me in there and got shut in.

Rest In Peace Jackson
