In Loving Memory of Cookie

Cookie joined our family in the Fall of 2004, along with another Cocker Spaniel,
Sophie.  They were found together, along with two other cockers, probably used
for breeding as they were each a different color.  She was 3-4 years old at that
time, so she was about 14 when she passed away on November 14.  Cookie didn’t
really like to play with toys, except for the cat.  She and our white calico,
Julie, went at it a few times.  She preferred to cuddle and go for walks. If
anyone was doing anything around the house, especially her Mommy, she wanted to
be included.  She watched for food to fall in the kitchen.  She stood guard
while Mom worked in the flower beds, she watched her bubby while he played
basketball, she sat with sissy while she put on her makeup, she watched the
ladder when Daddy was working on the house and helped him keep the couch warm.
Cookie was the “big sister” to Sophie.  She was always checking on her and she
even put a paw on her back when she thought Sophie needed correcting.  As much
as her human family misses her, we know that her furry family misses her too.

Rest in Peace Cookie

His favorite treat was anything edible. He loves his veggies and granola bones.

Favorite thing to do was sleeping in, watching cartoons, going to work/office, trips to lowes, trips to vet, and anything social. He loved car rides and hanging out with mommy.

Favorite memory- Every memory of Romo is a favorite. He was known for always checking trash cans. Would steal pizza out of box and close lid back. He had a great sense of humor and outsmarted me on a daily basis. Romo was a popular dog. Everyone knew and loved him. He was so much more than a dog. He was people.  He was my best friend and four legged soul mate. He could read my mind and knew much more than any dog I have ever known.  He knew that if he posed for the bank camera that he would hopefully get a treat and he knew which window at a drive thru gave out food. Romo was and always will be special and his memory will live on forever.  I lost my best friend  but he taught me more about life than any human could have.  I now understand unconditional love.

Rest in Peace
