In Loving Memory of Bertie Mae “Bert Bert”

Bertie Mae was an 7 year old Boxer Female, fawn with black mask.

She loved to chase her ball and cuddle with stuffed animals.

Her favorite treat was steak and salmon.

Her favorite thing to do she loved to snuggle and love to go to the park where she would go on “adventures” and chase her ball.

My favorite memory of her besides snuggling with her would probably be the day I got her. I wanted a female and I knew they only had 1 girl left. I walked up to the baby pool where all the puppies were and one marched right over and jumped up my legs. I picked the puppy up and it was a girl. She gave me a big ol kiss. I am forever grateful she picked me to be her person.   My fiance’s favorite memory of her is, just all the time they spent going on adventures at the park. She would holler at the first inclination she was going. We would even spell out the word PARK and she knew.

Rest in Peace Bertie Mae

In Loving Memory of Ace

Tribute to Ace

My sweet Ace was with me for 11 years.  He saw me through many ups and downs and was always there for me with a greeting full of unconditional love.  He lost his human daddy two years into his life and I am certain was greeted by him in heaven.  Ace was a pound puppy that had the best life in our home.  He slept in bed with us, enjoyed countless dinner treats and gave back more love than we could ever give to him.  His favorite treat was anything you were eating and he loved to bury his nose in a dirt hole and bark at nothing.  Ace was family to many households because they always took a piece of him home when they left…mostly dog hair.  J

He parked himself under the dining table at Thanksgiving and breathed hot air on your legs so you knew to slide him a piece of turkey.  He would push a flat rock all over the yard and pick it up with his paws then roll on his back to toss the rock only to do it over and over again. He was lucky enough to catch one squirrel, out of the hundreds he chased, in his lifetime.  He also loved to chase bubbles in the backyard and the occasional swim around the pool.

I already miss his comfort and pray that he had a good life here on earth because he certainly made my life sweeter.

Ace Maynard.  November 2007-December 13, 2018.

Rest in Peace Ace

In Loving Memory of Grayson Gregory Gooldin

Grayson Gregory was approximately 12 years old.

He was a miniature schnauzer.

His favorite toys were pink chickie peep and donkey.

His favorite treats were marshmallows.

His favorite thing to do was meet new people.

Favorite memories Grayson was a rescue dog that my daughter rescued in Ft. Worth Texas. He had been with chains and had acid poured on him. The first pictures she sent me He had no hair except he had a collar on that had grown to his skin. In 2010 I was critical ill and as a result my daughter quit her teaching job in Texas and returned here to care for me. I was nervous #1 I had never had a dog and I figured he hated people. To my surprise he was very congenial and loved people. I was basically  housebound for 1 1/2 years and he supervised me both pre and past liver treatment. In 2016 my daughter began with an illness and in January 2017 we went to OSU where she went into major organ failure and died in February. I was nervous, but decided to keep Grayson. I must admit I came to love him and appreciate his companionship. He began to fail the year having diabetes requiring insulin twice a day. As time marched on he became worse. He passed December 6 2018. I am sure he is back with my daughter enjoying each other.

Rest In Peace Grayson Gregory
