Her favorite toy was a stuffed puppy dog “Mr. Dog”.
She was never picky, she would eat anything she could find.
Her favorite things to do were spending time with mommy (DeAnn) and daddy (Daniel), sleep, and break into treat containers. She loved playing with her friends Scarlet, Mike, Ginger, Chessie, Hudson, Mazie, Gracie, Penny, Oscar, Josie, Sammy, Anna, and Daisy.
Our favorite memories~ as a puppy we took her to puppy kindergarten “PK” to train and learn her basic commands, She wanted to play with all the dogs in her class and eat treats no matter if she earned them or not. She was so happy and care free. Needless to say she failed puppy kindergarten “PK”.

In Loving Memory of Oprah
Pet’s name: Oprah Cyrus
Age: Unknown, we brought her home from a shelter in 2019, at that time they said she was 6 years old, but the vet said she was likely older than that judging by her teeth. So she was at least 8 years old at the time of her passing but likely older.
Breed/Type: This is so funny. I saw her picture on the rescue’s webpage and I told my dad she was a Beagle, he said great, bring her home. The rescue did not say she was a Beagle but, I just assumed she was. So I brought her home and he said “that is NOT a beagle!” She was almost 100lbs of love. We later found out she was a Treeing Walker Coonhound and had WICKED hunting instincts.
Favorite Toy: Her favorite toy wasn’t actually a toy, it was the couch. She loved sleeping on the couch so much. If my dad was laying on the couch, she would try to move him off. If she couldn’t get him off, she would go to the door to pretend to need the bathroom, as soon as my dad would get up, she would run back and steal his spot from the couch!!
Favorite Treat: Any cheese, we said she’s not actually a dog, she’s a giant mouse!
Favorite thing to do: Sleep with my stepmom in her bed or run around the yard and try to catch any furry critters.
Favorite Memory: My dad was babysitting a 4 year old little boy, and he saw Oprah laying on the couch and covered her up with a blanket. My dad said, “Are you covering her up?” and the little boy said “No, she bit me!” And my dad just started laughing because he knew he wasn’t telling the truth, my dad was watching them the whole time and Oprah had never bit ANYONE. If you had a treat in your hand and she jumped to get it, her teeth would touch you and feel light as a feather, no pressure at all. She was the most gentle giant with the sweetest heart.
We will miss her forever
