He wasn’t picky when it came to treats.
His favorite thing to do was knock over water glasses.
My favorite memory. He would look at you and then at the glass of water, look back at you and then knock the glass of water over while he was looking at you like what are you going to do about that?

In Loving Memory Of Sampson Maynard
August 1, 2016-August 5, 2022
Sampson was a 6 year old Cane Corso.
He looked tough on the outside, but If he knew you, & you found that favorite spot behind his ear, he loved you & let you into his family.
Some of his favorite things to do included running & playing with his girlfriend Delilah, barking at anything with tires, going swimming with his daddy, & picking up a McDonald’s cheeseburger anytime he was riding shotgun. One of the things that will be missed the most is getting to snuggle up with his big brother, Bryan, every night at bed time.
Sampson will be missed by so many, but especially his Mommy & Daddy.
Rest in Peace Sampson
In Loving Memory of Suzy-Q
Suzy-Q was our 12 year old Boston Terrier, her dad named her after the actual Hostess Suzy-Q snack cakes because when her head was sideways her marking looked like one and it just fit her. Suzy-q stayed active her whole life, she loved balls, frisby’s and occasionally chasing discs from the kids nerf disc thrower and she always brought back whatever you threw or tossed for her. She loved sunbathing and rolling in the grass when not playing ball. I think one of all of our favorite memories was whether you were laying down or watching television, Suzy-q would jump up where you were and drop the ball on your head, in your lap, in your hand and give you no choice because….it was time to play ball ALWAYS. Suzy-q got along with everyone and everyone loved her, she had several other fur babies around her also and always got along and tolerated them even if they were annoying to her because she was just the best and so well behaved without training. Suzy-Q’s dad has a tattoo of her face on his arm that he got when she was young because she was and always will be remembered as sweet Suzy-Q. We will love, miss and remember her always. Suzy-Q will always remain Forever Our Girl!
Rest in Peace Suzy-Q
In Loving Memory of Sophie
Sophie aka Baby Girl (nickname – Sophie squirrel)
15 year old Maltese
Best dog friend – Kody Bear
Favorite thing to do – cuddle with the momma, give kisses, wrestle with the daddy, torture the wittens (Howie and Runtie).
Favorite memory – I wish I could pick one single memory that showed how special my Sophie girl was, but there isn’t just one. She was the best dog, best friend, best companion anyone could ever ask for. I can’t think of a single memory in the last 15 years that doesn’t involve her. She was with me during the happy times and licked my tears during the bad. The only thing that helps me through each day is that I will meet her at the rainbow bridge one day and until then she is playing with Kody Bear and getting all the cuddles from my Grandpop. She is always in my heart forever!
Rest in Peace Sophie

In loving memory of Spud Gaddy
September 19, 2005 – April 6, 2022
“Spuddy Buddy”
If there was a super hero cape for dogs, Spud would definitely deserve to wear one. He was “pet of the week” at Cabell Wayne Shelter in September 2005. His actual history before then is still a mystery, but his first veterinarian said he had survived being shot at some point…and Ritter Park seemed to spark memories for him.
Spud was a handsome Jack Russell terrier and lived with his humans for a little over 17 and a half years!!! In his youth, he was a lightning fast runner, a master at tug of war, a chaser of squirrels and cats and an expert at finding his Christmas presents under the tree! In 2007, Spud welcomed his brother from another mother, Reggie, into his home and they became inseparable…although Spud was always the alpha dog in control and taking the lead. He was a sock and slipper thief and loved carrying toys outside on his backyard adventures. He loved home cooked chicken, rice and carrots and any treats he could beg for, especially bacon. Annual Birthday treats were also among his favorites too! Spud was a great travel companion. He loved riding in the car on trips to Tennessee and Florida.
In recent years, Spud fought valiantly against the pains and ailments of his age and would have stayed forever because he loved his family so much. But on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, it was time for him to trade in his superhero cape for his eternal wings and go peacefully to doggie heaven to play and wait to be joined someday by everyone who loves him.
Spud leaves behind his beloved Doug Gaddy, his mamamoo Michelle and his papaw Don. Also his brother Reggie and calico cat sister, Pepper as well as 11 other house kitties. We love and miss you, our beautiful and smart boy, Spud!!!
“You are no longer by our side, but forever & always in our hearts.”
