The minute Colt was found on the side of a road at 8 weeks old, he was guaranteed an address. Colt was loved so much from the first day we met him. He melted our hearts and changed our family forever. He was such a sweet boy with a lot of love to give. Our family needed him more than he needed us. Colt showed unconditional love, was loyal, and was a great listener. He could talk with his eyes and understand every sentence spoken to him. He was very smart and had a gentle personality.
Colt’s favorite toys included tug ropes and stuffed toys. Colt loved pepperoni slices and rotisserie chicken, which he enjoyed often. Colt loved his family and was content being anywhere with his people. He loved morning walks, his backyard and swimming.
While some days it feels as if time has stopped without him, Colt’s memory will stay with us always. If loved could have saved him, he would have lived forever.
Colt is now running the beautiful fields of Heaven, chasing deer, and playing with Barkley. We will see you again one day, Colt.
