In Loving Memory of Taz

For almost 17 years, Taz was the hero and I was her sidekick. As just a tiny puppy, she chose me.
Shortly thereafter, she tried to defend me against an attacking Rottweiler. The scene was the stuff of Youtube legend, had it existed back then.
Here she was, this little ball of fluff barking like a squeak toy, standing bowed up at the end of her leash against a raging Rottie.
That dog obviously had no sense of humor, because he only got madder.
She and I went on to live many adventures together. She was my guardian angel, my confidante, my best friend.
Unfortunately Pomeranians have a reputation for being prissy and ‘snippy’, but not my Tazzy.
She lovingly welcomed all, human and animal (with the exception of the Rott), and they loved her right back.
She enjoyed her walks, as well as chasing leaves. Taz wasn’t fond of the mail carrier messing with our mailbox or the garbage man stealing our garbage, but she didn’t hold that against them…she was just doing her job by alerting us and anyone within a five mile range that there were some shenanigans going on.
She was a gentle little soul with a tender heart, who was right by my side through the best and worst of times.
I honestly don’t know how I’ll do this now, without her.
Rest easy, my sweet sweet little girl. Wait for me.
