Spunkie Grace Cline

Spunkie, our precious, white miniature Schnauzer joined our family on March 17,2006 ~ St. Patrick’s Day. She loved to play catch, pounce and run wildly around the room. Spunkie learned many tricks that she enjoyed performing for dog biscuits. She chased birds and rabbits out of “her” yard.
Whether on the porch swing or at the computer, sitting on a lap was one of her favorite pastimes. Spunkie loved to let the breeze blow into her face. She would press her head against our chests to “give hugs”. At Christmas you could see the excitement in her face as she waited for her presents.
Spunkie was almost thirteen when she was diagnosed with diabetes. Shortly after, she lost her sight. She adjusted pretty well, learning to find her way through the house and complete her daily routine.
In her final months, she loved the security of snuggling on our laps.
What joy she brought us over the last fifteen years. Spunkie will always have a special place in our hearts.
