On April 25, 2020, we lost our beautiful baby girl, Sadie Pearl. We had the privilege of being her human family from the time she was 4 months old until she passed at the age of 8. Sadie was smart, very smart. There were so many things that she just knew and understood. If we said “birds outside” she would run to the window to find them. “Dogs on TV” would illicit running to the nearest one to get a closer view. When the coat closet door opened, she would get excited thinking she was going to “go bye-bye”. She would come at the sound of ice from the refrigerator. At night, she would rest her head on the edge of the bed waiting for someone to say it was okay to hop up. She loved watching funny videos on the computer, and was so interested in thriller movies. But her favorite were the nature channels and would spend a solid hour watching, slowly turning her head to glance at us as if to say, “wow” and would slowly turn back to continue watching. She could perform even the most difficult of tricks and commands and would do absolutely anything for a biscuit treat and on Christmas would open her own packages. She was friendly and loved to greet people by rubbing her body against their legs back and forth, tail wagging. She learned this from her feline brother, Pete. We miss you so much, baby girl. You are forever in our hearts and thank you for giving us the best memories.
Rest in Peace Sadie
